Brief Description:  James Bonner has a Masters of Science Degree in Aeronautics from Embry Riddle University.  Mr. Bonner retired from the U.S. Marine Corps where he served as an Air Traffic Controller.

In 1986, he became an external pilot for Pioneer Remotely Piloted Vehicle where he remained until his retirement in 2002.  Throughout his career, Mr. Bonner performed in support of both domestic and international unmanned aviation operations for RDT&E and military operations.

Mr. Bonner will explain in detail the requirements for becoming an FAA licensed commercial UAV pilot and the process required for acquiring this rating.
