World War II Military Commemorative Association

The World War II Military Commemorative Association honors the memory of the men and women, from all sides, who participated in World War II. Members of the association do not seek to glorify war but rather to keep alive the memory of those who sacrificed so much for us.

Members work to keep the memory alive by creating an impression of an individual from the World War II era. Members strive to make the impression as historically accurate as possible.

The impression is created first by research using written histories, photographic evidence and, eye witness accounts. This is followed by collecting original uniforms, equipment and weapons or, high quality reproductions to finish the impression. Many members create multiple impressions.

Many members also own and maintain World War II vehicles as well. The same research process used to create an individual impression is used to restore and maintain the vehicles.

Members are involved in many events throughout the year. These include battle reenactments, both public and private, parades, public displays and, veterans ceremonies.

The World War II Military Commemorative Association is a nonprofit organization open to all who would like to participate. Members of the association are mainly from the northern California and, western Nevada areas.

The World War II Military Commemorative Association is always looking for new members. Current members are always eager and ready to talk to anyone about the Association or reenacting.
